The ITU Digital Skills Forum is the core global event for the ITU membership and other stakeholders to discuss the most pressing needs that must be addressed to ensure that universal digital skills can be achieved, and the global digital skills gap be closed.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

Why attend<\/p>\n Under the theme \u201cDeveloping skills for digital transformation\u201d, the Forum will bring together policy makers, practitioners and experts from around the world. Participants will discuss key pertinent digital skills issues related to bridging the digital divide, the impact of emerging technologies on current and future skills needs, the green and digital transition and skills demand, skills for a safe and secure use of digital technologies, the industry perspective on skills gaps and partnership engagement. <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Where, when and who<\/p>\n The ITU Digital Skills Forum will be held in Manama, Bahrain, from 17 to 19 September 2024.

The event welcomes participants responsible for digital skills and capacity development in relevant ministries, regulatory agencies, telecommunications operating companies, and other national education and learning organizations, as well as representatives from international and regional organizations.
